FDRAnalysis

This application enables an analysis of false discovery rates (FDR) of mass spectrometry identification results. Currently it can accept Mascot*, X!Tandem and OMSSA results and can analyse all of the searches separately but can also combine the searches from different search engines, enhancing confidence in the results.

Please use the menu buttons above to run the analysis.

Test files

For new users, we have provided test files that you can use with FDRAnalysis. To download zip files containing the results of searches carried out with Mascot, OMSSA and X!Tandem click one of the links below.

Standalone version

A 'standalone' version of FDRAnalysis is now available here. After installation, this software runs on a local desktop machine so you don't have to upload files via the Internet.
Note: the standalone version is currently under development and is not guaranteed to produce all of the same outputs as the web version. Installation of this software requires a certain level of technical knowledge and is not recommended for users with no experience of installing computer software.

*FDRAnalysis uses the Mascot Parser to parse Mascot .dat files. For further information or to download the parser please go to the MatrixScience website.
